Where is One Bill available?

What's the difference to a normal solar subscription?

Most solar subscriptions leave you managing two things separately: your solar provider and your prepaid. And most can't guarantee net savings because they don't control both sides of your electricity.

With One Bill, we manage everything: we size the system using AI, deliver your prepaid token through the app, manage the battery, and guarantee you pay at least 5% less and up to 25% depending on your electricity spend, within your agreed usage range. One relationship, one app, one payment.

What is One Bill?

One Bill gives you: one monthly payment that covers prepaid electricity and solar. Savings are guaranteed at a minimum of 5%, and up to 25% depending on your electricity spend, within your agreed usage range but with solar included, backup during power outages, and everything managed for you by Wetility's service team.

How do the guaranteed savings work?

Your One Bill payment covers everything: your solar subscription, your remaining prepaid electricity, maintenance, insurance, and monitoring. That total is guaranteed to be at least 5% less than what you'd pay for grid electricity alone for the same usage, within your agreed usage range. Depending on your electricity spend, that guarantee goes up to 25%.

The reason we can guarantee it is that your system is sized by AI using your actual consumption data. It's not a guess; the software calculates exactly what system your household needs, and the guarantee is built around that calculation. Your exact monthly amount is always visible in the app before it's debited. No surprises.

Is One Bill a separate electricity provider?

No. Your municipality still supplies your standard prepaid electricity as normal, that doesn't change. We add solar panels and a battery so you use less prepaid. The prepaid tokens you get through the app are the same municipal electricity you've always used.

How do the prepaid rewards work?

Every time you buy prepaid electricity through the Wetility App, you earn 2% back in electricity tokens. Buy R500 of electricity, get R10 back. It adds up every month.

On top of that, you earn up to R70 in free electricity when you get started: R20 when you link your meter, and R50 on your first top-up of R100 or more. Zero transaction fees on EFT payments.

Same electricity, same municipal supply, same meter, you're just buying it through the app instead of through the bank or the shop. Except now you earn every time you buy instead of paying a fee.

How do I receive my prepaid token?

Each month, Wetility purchases your remaining prepaid electricity on your behalf and loads the token directly into the Wetility App. You'll get a push notification when it's ready. Open the app, copy the token number, and punch it into your meter. Same as you've always done, just without the trip to the shop or the transaction fees.

What if I don't receive my token or something goes wrong?

If you are unsure about anything, simply open the Wetility App and log a support ticket. It takes about 30 seconds and our team gets notified immediately.
